Across Europe’s top four leagues in the 2024–25 season, teams varied widely in both how often they won corners and how effectively they converted them into meaningful opportunities. Opta’s data across LaLiga, the Premier League, the Bundesliga and Serie A reveals clear leaders and laggards in volume, delivery efficiency, preferred formats and chance creation.

Barcelona topped the charts for sheer volume, earning 265 corners, while Manchester City (253), Liverpool (252), Arsenal (251) and Real Madrid (243) all cleared the 240-corner mark. At the other end, newly promoted or smaller clubs struggled to generate set-piece opportunities: Leganés managed just 113, Holstein Kiel 118, Monza 130, Freiburg 132 and Venezia 136. Across all 78 teams, the average was 178.2 corners per season.
